The new 3M 1883 respirator will help protect you, your team and your patients, breath by breath, giving airborne infection less room to spread. It is designed to be worn be health care professionals in isolation wards, operating rooms and other aseptic environments.

As an FFP3 respirator, it gives you high level protection from airborne hazards such as micro-organisms, as you breathe in. The raised breathing cage over the valve is covered with a special filter medium: this acts as a surgical mask, helping shield those around you from the air you exhale without restricting your breathing comfort, and also protects you from splashes of blood and body fluids.
